Why choose Vagamon for a hill break
Vagamon is a peaceful hill station on the border of Idukki and Kottayam districts, around 1,100 m above sea level. Rolling grassy meadows, the Vagamon pine forest, Kurisumala hill, tea gardens and the Thangalpara rock make it a calmer alternative to Munnar, and it is one of Kerala’s best spots for paragliding. It is about 3 hours by road from Alleppey, so it pairs well with a houseboat stay.
