Discover Kumbalangi
Kumbalangi is a small island village surrounded by backwaters, developed as an integrated tourism village where visitors join everyday life: crab farming, coir making, toddy tapping and fishing with Chinese nets. Mangrove-lined channels are perfect for canoe and kayak trips, and homestays offer fresh Kerala seafood. In some months the waters glow with bioluminescence locally called kavaru.
